With an area of over 5,600 square meters, the facility is home to around 300 animals, including goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and peacocks.
What sets Heemskerk Dierendorp apart is its partnership with SIG, an organization that supports people with disabilities. These individuals actively participate in the daily care of the animals and maintenance of the grounds, making the petting zoo a space where inclusion and compassion are lived every day.

For just €0.50, little visitors can also purchase feed to offer the birds and proud peacocks.
